Some Rule Changes & Differences

• $170,000 in prize money is at stake
• $40,000 goes to the winning team
• $20,000 to the runners up
• The Game is made up of 24 players per side (6 Interchange) and two halves of 17.5 minutes each (with time on).
• If the scores are level at fulltime, The siren will not sound until someone scores.
• Hitting the goal posts now scores 3 points, Not 1. (note 1)
• Rushed behinds scores 3 points, Not 1. (note 1)
  Note 1 - The goal Umpire will wave a coloured flag to distinguish this
• A free kick will be paid against the last man to touch the ball before it goes out of bounds. If it is unclear who that was, a throw-in will result.
• You cannot have a shot at goal from the resultant free kick (last man to touch it rule) if you are within 50 metres of goal.
• At half time, the teams have a 5 minute break (They do not leave the field) and then change ends.
• There will be four goal umpires
• There will be four boundary umpires
