Comments
West Adelaide have moved into
3rd spot with a good win over Port at Richmond Oval. The
game was even for the first quarter before the Bloods found form
and kicked away from Port. Halfway through the final quarter
West were up by 36 points before a belated comeback from Port
which cut the winning margin back to 17 points.
At Woodville Oval it was the
Eagles who came away easy winners by 70 points. Despite
the lopsided score North actually entered their 50m zone 8 more
times, had almost as much use of the ball and laid more tackles
than the Eagles. The main difference was the Eagles had
winners in attack and made better use of the ball.
