Port signalled to the remaining teams that they are still a premiership threat with a comprehensive 61 point win over Central Districts.  The Magpies had winners all over the ground and with their pace and agression at the ball caused Centrals to make many skill errors.  After the game Centrals coach stated that "We just didn't give a good enough contest" while Ports coach Stephen Williams stated that his players are now confident of taking it all the way.

The first half of the game between West and Norwood was unexciting with both sides making silly errors. Due to the Bloods inaccurancy in front of goal it was still any one games at half time with West leading by 1 point.  In the third term West started to kick away from Norwood and at the 23 minute mark led by 24 points.  The Redlegs then fought back and the margin was 12 points at the final break. At the start of the third term both sides went goal for goal before West gained control and ended up with an impressive 16 points win.

Tuesday night is Magarey Medal night and I will let you all know the results on Wednesday.  Current favourites are Sturts Simon Feast with the Eagles Nick Pesch and Norwoods Damien Obst close behind.
