Comments
It was a tough struggle at Unley
oval between the Blues and Panthers. The first 3 quarters were
fairly even but it was Sturts big men who turned out to be the
difference in the final quarter when Sturt kicked away to win
by 14 points.
The Doggies showed their finals
aspirations with a huge 82 point win over North at Propect Oval.
Centrals held the Roosters goalless for almost 3 quarters and
if it wasn't for the 4 late goals in the final quarter the margin
would have been far greater.
Despite having more of the ball,
more scoring shots and laying more tackles Glenelg lost the game
at Alberton. Glenelg started the game well and at the first break
held a 2.5 lead. Port though moved Poole into ruck and with Phillipou
kicking 6 goals started to match it with the Tigers and ended
up winning by 29 points.
