Comments
It was a close match at Norwood Oval between Norwood and West. In the first 3 quarters Norwood kicked away to a 2-3 goal lead and seemed set to take control before West hit back with goals late in each of the quarters. At the beginning of the last quarter West were 15 points down but five minutes into the quarter held a 2 point lead before Norwood steadied and regained the lead. The main difference between the sides was Norwoods 2 pronged forward setup with Neil kicking 7 and O'Brien 5 goals. At the other end of the ground Wests Adam Richardson kicked 5 goals.

Despite losing ruckman Golding to the Crows and full forward Feddema through injury, Glenelg thrashed North Adelaide at Glenelg Oval by 64 points. In a brilliant 2nd term, Glenelg led by BOG Chad Cornes blitzed the Roosters kicking 9 goals to 4 and had 87 possesions to Norths 43. After the match Glenelg coach McGuiness stated "We believe we have a team that will win more than it loses and you could see when we are hard at the footy and use it what damage we can do". While North co-captain Parker said "We're not adhering to team rules or sticking to team plans. If you want to point the finger at anyone, point it at the players".

With a good win over Centrals by 30 points the Eagles have jumped into 3rd spot on the table. With 3 goals to Eagles debutant Darzanos in the first quarter they led from start to finish. In the final quarter the Doggies attempted a comback and reduced a 30 point deficit to 16 points at the 15 minute mark but the Eagles were too strong and managed to withstand the challenge to run out easy winners.

Tomorrow Sturt plays Port at Adelaide Oval to complete this weeks round of matches. I hope to have te scores posted by late Tuesday night.
