Joining
the competition
Don't mention joining on the web pages - If you select
this option then all tippers will need to be added to your competition
via the regular program and the updated file uploaded to the website
before tippers can input their tips.
Show "email Organiser to join" on join page - If you select
this option then potential tippers must send the organiser an email
requesting to join. All tippers will need to be added to your competition
via the regular program and then the details uploaded to the website
before tippers can input their tips.
Allow unrestricted or restricted joining from join page -
If you select this option then tippers can join your competition
from the website. The only difference is that the last of the options
requires the potential tipper to enter a password (which you must
supply to them) before the Join page is displayed. After they have
joined, they can immediately enter their tips.
Suspend
newly joined tippers
If you select this option then when tippers join online they will
not able to tip until they are revived in the regular program and
then uploaded. This can be selected so that you can vet potential
tippers and/or ask for an entry fee before placing them in the competition
on the website.
Fields
required when joining competition
As many fields as you like can be selected, so that the potential
tipper has to give as much or as little information about them as
you wish.
